Residential Construction Is Changing Boston’s Skyline ! It may seem that Boston’s tallest building under construction is Fenway’s newest luxury residential building, the Pierce Boston, as it soars above the Emerald Necklace Park at 188 Brookline Avenue near Landmark Center. With 109 condominiums and 240 apartments on 30 floors it is a mere 378 feet high as compared to another new development, The Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences at 1 Dalton Street in Back Bay.  This ultra-luxury complex is scheduled to open in April of this year and borders the Christian Science Plaza and the Prudential Center. The complex will feature a Four Seasons Hotel on the lower floors and 160 private residences on the top floors. At 742 feet it will be the tallest residential building in Boston just edging out Millenium Tower at 1 Franklin Street in Boston’s Midtown at 685 feet which was completed in 2016 with 60 stories and 442 private residences . Just for comparison Copley Square’s iconic commercial building, the John Hancock Tower is 790 feet.
